Johnny Be Good is a 9 year old grade paint. He is a bay overo with a blaze, side spot and roaning. Very handsome fella!
Johnny is a wonderful Dressage and jumper prospect for a beginner to intermediate rider. He's already started on lateral movements with solid leg yielding, push button gaits and is very honest and steady to fences. He hasn't been ridden English in quite some time, as I am a western rider, I pulled him out and free jumped/had real English people put him over fences and he did amazing. No refusals, tries every time, had style and happy ears the whole time even when "beginner mistakes" were intentionally made (to see how he would react)
Good in the arena and trails. Take him anywhere. He's very willing. 16 hands high, goes well in a snaffle. Great equitation horse, focus on your riding and you don't have to worry about him. He's got a nice stop, pivots, sidepasses, backs - all the standard western stuff to boot.
He has a history of showing and placing both western and english but did much better in his english classes.
He's a waste of potential with me. He's very happy being an English horse, I'm no English rider. I don't jump and he loves being put over fences. I am open to reasonable offers.
