Dusty is an 8 year old pure arabian gelding. He was registered by his previouse owners, but they lost the papers. Dusty is green broke, for an experienced or maybe even an intermediate rider, or someone who knows how to handle a slightly green horse. He was started last spring and was ridden at least 2 or more times a week all the way tell this winter. I rode him mid winter and he did great for not being ridden for a few months! I'v also ridden him 3 times in the past week (mid febuary) and he did great as well. He turns good, stops good, slows down good, speeds up good, and is starting to back up. He responds excelent to voice commands, just click and he'll go up into the next gait. Responds good to leg preassure too. Has very nice gaits. Super smooth walk, trot and canter. Would make an excellent pleasure horse. That is what i was going to do with him this summer, but we can't afford the hay for 2 horses any more. Has enough zip for barrels to and he has been on trails, in fields, and on the road a few times with other horses and alone. He is not heard bound. He tacks up great and is currently ridden western with a hackamore/ bosal and has just started useing an english saddle to. He has had a bit in his mouth once, so i'm sure he would do fine with that. Stands for mounting and dismounting. Good ground manners. Lunges great! We just got his coggins updated and his health exam and he is 100% healthy and sound. He's good with the ferrier, vet, and does load in a trailer, but you ussually have to coax him in. UPDATE: did work with trailering, loads great now! UTD on feet, but will need his shots and wormer come spring. Gets along with any horse/ horses. TO GOOD HOME ONLY!! If you have any questions or want some more pictures you can email or call me.
