Sagan is a 5 year old, 17hh Belgian-quarter horse cross. He is fun to ride - he enjoys trail riding and is also fun to ride in the ring. I am currently riding him dressage - walk, trot, canter, leg yield, shoulder in willingly. I am selling him because I have finally come to the realization that I just don't have enough time to give him the attention he needs. I also have back problems, so even when I do ride him, I don't do as much as he's capable of anymore.
I've owned Sagan for 2 years. I bought him from the people who had him since he was a foal and he's a pleasure to have. He gets along great with other horses - and is the bottom of the pecking order in the pasture, which is good because he doesn't know how big he is. Sagan is friendly, easy going, and has no vices. He stands quietly for the farrier, has great feet and doesn't need shoes, is up to date on all his shots, loves baths and being groomed (even letting little girls braid his mane and tail).
Sagan would be ideal for someone looking to polish off a horse with a good start, or just enjoy on trails. He would be a fun dressage horse for someone looking to have fun - not necessarily win. I suppose he would do hunters as well, although I don't have a girth large enough to fit him in my hunt saddle. He is also learning to neck rein, so he might go western as well.
