Additional Comments:
Leroy is a 4 year old Tennessee Walking horse that has seen it all. This horse was started with very light riding as a two year old, and turned out to mature. As a three year old he has been ridden many miles on all types of trails and on the farms around cattle. I caught Leory today after two and a half months off, and we had no problems stepping on a riding off. We work with mainly team roping horses, and Leroy is not getting the attention he needs. If you are looking for a small horse this is not the horse for you. He will stand just shy of 16 hands and weight 1100-1125. He has great conformation with good cannon bones, pastern bones, and good feet. He has never had shoes on, only trimmed. He has never had a set of pads, chains ect... He has a very natural run walk gait without all the extras. This horse will neck rein, and go anywhere you wish. I actually have photos of me riding this horse with a broke hand, that's how much I trust this guy. We have raised this horse from the day he was born, and just recently sold his dam. I say he is broke, but he is not a "dead head". When you get on him and ask him to go, he will go, but not until you ask him. I have nothing but good things to say about this horse, he is just not getting the attention he deserves. He is an easy keeper with very minimum requirements. All of the photos except one were taken today, so he will not look at his best. As you can see from his pedigree below he has some of the all time greats of the walking horse industry. If you are looking for a trail horse, show horse, or just a horse to ride out and check the cattle, then give this guy a look.
