Honey is a great mare that is dead broke to drive. She has her ROM in Open Halter and in 2005 finished 2nd in Open Pleasure Driving and 3rd in Open Halter. I pulled her out of the pasture after not having driven her in over six months and she was perfect. We have had many young children drive her when they come to the farm. You couldn't ask for a more kid safe mare. We purchased her last year because we wanted to start breeding the smaller miniatures (29"-32"), but now I have grow interest in the Shetland Blend miniatures that stand 33"-35". Since Honey is only 31.5" she is too small to even cross on the larger stallions. At the moment Honey is pastured with our 29.25" stallion, PSP Amir Wynn, so she is sold pasture exposed to him with no guaranty. She has had one foal before for her previous owner but we have never gotten a foal out of her. We had her pasture exposed earlier this year but she came back in heat. A great home is a must for this wonderful mare! I just don't feel that she will be used the way she should be if she stays here. Feel free to ask any questions you may have and if you would like to see more pictures of Honeydew.
Company / Facility:
Pint Size Perfection -
We are a small breeding farm on the outskirts of Estacada, Oregon. Our goal is to produce Miniature horses with the poise, elegance, presence, action and confirmation of a full size Arabian in a 34" and under package. All but two of our horses are double registered with AMHA and AMHR. In producing a small number of foals per year (1-4) we are able to promote all of them well. Our breeding program boasts the lines of Champion Farms Nighthawk, Shadow Oaks Hiram Walker, Thunders True Copy, Sonita DWBS Memoir and many other well known horses. If you would like to come out and visit our farm let us know and we can arrange an appointment.
