Ibn is a nine year old crabbet Arabian from Silver Vanity and Gai Parada's blood lines. Perfect example of what a true Arabian should be in temperament and conformation. Very loving and loyal, Ibn is the kind of horse you want as a life long companion and work/show horse. He takes leg cues and neck reigns a little. He has been trained in trail, English pleasure, Western pleasure, keyhole races, liberty, and was started in dressage. In short he has had a lot of owners who started him into stuff but never had time to finish working with him.... (read more)
Ibn needs a intermediate to experienced rider because he is spirited before being worked and takes advantage of beginner riders. He is one of those horses that will push to see what he can get away with a few times before understanding that he can't get away with it. Unlike some Arabians he would make a good cow horse because he listens well and has the stocky crabbet Arab build vs the flashy show build of the Polish and Egyptian Arabians. He is not afraid of cows at all and actually likes them as companions.
Ibn has nice ground manners, ties, bathes, loads, and stands for the farrier like a dream. Great with small kids being around him. Does not spook at parked or slow moving cars, ATV's, pools, bridges, standing water, loud dogs, cats, small animals, or going under trees. Never had problems while lunging on or off a line. Takes sound cues to speed up or slow down. Ibn is also current on Coggins and was just wormed. Can do a vet check at buyers expense. I am only selling him because of my health. Unfortunately it has gotten to the point that I can no longer give him what he needs or bring out all the potential he has. My loss is your gain in this.
