Bought Trixie in 2007 trained western for the show ring. Trixie was spur trained so spent several years teaching her English using leg and seat. We also did some light jumping, never refused and showed great form. All you have to do is think and she will start to respond. I am a certified instructor with hopes to show her but was never able to break away. So Trixie has had little riding in the past year or better. Trixie would reschool up as she was confirmed in leads, some lateral work and arena figure work. Rode her the other day and she worked fine on loose rein at walk with some trot.
Trailers, cross ties, good fo farrier, Has been barefoot for several years.
Because of her high level training and sensitivity to leg and seat, she requires a good rider. This is not a horse for beginners even though would trust her to walk around with a child.
Trixie pastures well with others, no vices, walks right up to you. She is a sweet mare.
I have priced this mare to sell fast as relocating and do not have time to ride.
