Starfire's, make a great beginners horse, lesson horse, or have her as a broodmare. She's been breed several years and has produced blue roans filly's/colt's that's sold $2,200.00 ea. They have gone into the show ring and won many ribbons. Starfire kinda lost her figure threw the years. But hey, who hasn't right!!?? Starfire's is one of those type of horses if you left her out in the pasture for years then bring her in to ride. She'd act like you rode her yesterday and will take you on down the trails! She's a sweet mare that doesn't cause any problems, loves attention, comes to you to be petted on, stands still to get on or off, and still has the gaits that God gave her. My uncle came to visit me and wanted to ride a gaited horse. He hasn't rode a horse in 40+ years!! But that didn't bother her she took care of him as if she had a child on her back. I have videos to show you how she handles with him, my dad that hadn't rode in 40+ yrs, and another rider that's always rode quarter horses! She'd make a great horse for a beginner to experienced, from 7 to 75, who doesn't mind a little age cause she is safe to be around. Company / Facility: Rock'n a Ranch - We raise/train/buy/sell horses for a living. We start a young horse first with ground work and decentize them to be calm, safe and not spooky. And continue on with ground work all the way to breaking them to ride to a finished horse with no buck, rear, or bolt. For the horses that are broke we work with them on whatever issues they may have from decentizing to tune ups. Before we put them up for sale.
We have 50 acres that we use to ride and train: 4 horse walker, 120 ft circle arena with a 50 ft round pen inside it, also a 150 ft x 150 ft riding arena, a mile oval tilled track, threw a large tank, woods with obstacles, etc. Things that you would experiance on a trail ride. As well as ride them along hwys, over bridges, around cattle, dogs, noises, tractors, etc. If we can't ride them we don't sell them!! Unless otherwise noted as in "NOT Broke"!
