Rascal, is a nice gentle giant, with a think long mane and tale, chisel head, and muscluar body!! He neck reins, backs up, stand to get on bare back or with a saddle, loads easy, good with his feet, baths, just an over all great horse. Has a nice single foot, easy canter if asked, walks with a loose rein, stops quickly, wouldn't take much to get him back into the game! His bloodlines goes back to "Lasan Smoky Rascal" 1990 APHA World Champion, Register of Merit: Amt. Heading, Amt. Heeling, Amt. Pole Bending, Amt. Steer Stoping, Open Heading, Open Heeling, Open Steer Stopping. And on Dam's back to "Smokin Lady Lasan"! His blood is rich with the best breedings you can imagine. Rascal is a really nice laid back horse that would be good for trail riding. Or put him in the arena and teach him a job that he's been breed to do! He's has been raised on the property from birth, was a stud for a few years, and now gelded several years later. I have a couple video's for you to watch to see how he handles. Company / Facility: Rock'n A Ranch - We raise/train/buy/sell horses for a living. We start a young horse first with ground work and decentize them to be calm, safe and not spooky. And continue on with ground work all the way to breaking them to ride to a finished horse with no buck, rear, or bolt. For the horses that are broke we work with them on whatever issues they may have from decentizing to tune ups. Before we put them up for sale.
We have 50 acres that we use to ride and train: 4 horse walker, 120 ft circle arena with a 50 ft round pen inside it, also a 150 ft x 150 ft riding arena, a mile oval tilled track, threw a large tank, woods with obstacles, etc. Things that you would experiance on a trail ride. As well as ride them along hwys, over bridges, around cattle, dogs, noises, tractors, etc. If we can't ride them we don't sell them!! Unless otherwise noted as in "NOT Broke"!
