"Bruce" is a registered AQHA stout sorrel gelding, standing about 15.0 hands. He was purchased by me as a weanling on the Knippling ranch production sale and is Copper Bruce bred, I started him as a 2 year old and has been ranch rode since. Rope a bull, drag it in the trailer, sort cows and then take him to a jackpot on the weekend. Doesn't need a tune up if he's been off for a few months, stays broke. He's the "go-to" horse on the ranch year round when there's a tough job to do.
Bruce has an excellent foundation in tie-down roping and has been used a bunch as a practice horse. He is ready to start getting hauled. He will make a great head, calf or breakaway horse for just about anyone.
Extremely nice handle, and VERY smooth riding. We put inexperienced adults on him to gather cows, but wouldn't recommend as a small child's horse as is he is quick footed and has a lot of drive. Loads great, hauls great, VERY easy keeping, great ground manners, and great for the farrier. Perfect age, good looking and dependable!
