We raise ponies for children and this is three of this years crop. Several weanlings to choose from. Two studs and one filly. All were born in March and are currently being weaned and halter broke. These will only go to approved homes and do not have to leave the property until they are halter broke. It will require a non-refundable dep. to hold them for you until then. Both the stud and mothers are on property to see so you can tell what they may grow to be.... (read more) They are all ponies with wonderful dispositions and are using ponies for a carousel and lead line and "paint a pony". These babies will be handled by me and my kids and will be great to work with.
The first in line is Snickers- Stud and should be approx. 11h tall. Born 3/21/13, he may be more of a silver dapple or bay
Second in line is Shamrock-Filly born on St. Paddy's day 3/17/13, should be 11h. She will be Chestnut.
Third is Bam Bam Stud born 4/15/13 and will crop out to be Grey or Palomino and has grey eyes. He will bigger than the rest, approx. 12h.
We wean them a bit early so we can handle them and give them a good start with kids. My kids play with them every day. The mares go back to work after the year off and it is too much in the Okla. heat to work and nurse the babies.
Snickers and Shamrock are almost identical and may make a wonderful team, they are very close to each other as well.
The stud has been used for my business as well and provides a good disposition on all babies. I have rated them a "3" on the temperament chart, but that is b/c they are young, as they get handles all would become a "1".
