Holly is a friendly, sweet seven-year-old Quarter Horse mare with some old-time bloodlines which would likely qualify her for double registration with the FQHA (Foundation Quarter Horse Association). She has been in the same home since she was purchased as a filly and lives on a ranch by Fort Rock, in southeastern Oregon. Her owner says Holly has a great personality, is fun to ride, well-broke for trails and also has lots of experience at local playdays in running barrels, poles and the keyhole race.... (read more) Holly is sensible and has been sacked out with tarps, goes through water, loads and hauls well and is accustomed to being pastured with other horses. Her owner introduced Holly to some beginning dressage, plus Holly knows how to neck rein and sidestep. She has always been healthy and sound and was bred one time as a five-year-old, producing a nice colt. The picture above of Holly being ridden was taken recently when the first-time-ever-on-a-horse grandnephew visited the ranch and rode Holly in the arena without incident. Holly has no bad habits and is only being sold because her older-lady owner has had several hip surgeries and doesn't ride much any more. Price negotiable to a great home.
