"Ace" is a great horse and companion. He is currently being ridden on trails and for drill team. He has done numerous parades including the San Francisco St. Patrick's Day Parade and the Petaluma Veterans Parade (complete with low flying aircraft), color guard and drill team competitions. He has been worked on trail obstacles: side passing to open gates, pushing the "big" ball, dragging a log, jumping over things, walking on tarps and bridges, carrying a bag filled with noisy tin cans, etc. I introduced him to "drafting" cattle and he did fine. I have taken him camping, tie lined and he gets along well with other horses. No drama with this guy!
He is the best horse I have had the pleasure of owning. I have arthritis in my back that is forcing me to change to a gaited horse, which has been a very tough decision!
Ace is attractive, has two blue eyes, well taken care of, sound, an easy keeper, good for farrier, excellent in the trailer, ties and bathes. Stands 15.2 hands. He would be a great family horse, as anyone can ride him. He learns new things easily, and even knows how to bow.
He is as close to "the perfect horse" as I have come. He is solid, with enough spunk to keep it interesting. His only vice is he can be lazy in the arena, so I wear spurs.
Asking $4800. I will include a wonderful shampoo/conditioner that makes it easy to keep him white! Dirt simply brushes off for months after a bath. I have never had any problem with sunburn, but will also include "Pony Block" which is the easiest and most effective equine sunblock around.
