Major is big, stout and handsome with a great disposition. His legs are straight and correct. He is a people pleaser and is very willing to do whatever you ask of him. He was a ranch horse the first part of his life and has been a great family/trail horse for the past five years. He is broke very nicely but has never had any formal training in a particular discipline. I have never ridden him English but he flexes very easily at the poll, and is just over 16.... (read more)1. He is shown loping the barrels after just trotting through a few times. He has been started in the roping pen and he can pull a house. He is a pleasure to ride on the trails and nothing bothers him. Major is a great horse, and we are going to let the video speak for itself. I am selling him for my sister, who no longer rides, and while he has been with us, we have done several different things on him to show his willingness and versatility. Can be very "in your pocket" if that's what you are looking for...but knows how to respect your space if that's what you expect. No lameness issues or vices. He gets along great with other horses and is not a bully, despite his size. We turn him out with our yearling and two year old colts, who can be very obnoxious, and he is very patient with them both. He is absolutely healthy and UTD on everything. If there is something you want to know about him that we do not show in the video, do not hesitate to ask. We prefer phone calls please. 623-742-0210
