Wrangler is an 11 year old Buckskin Quarter Horse gelding. He is a great trail horse! He's not a "dead head." Just has a little bit faster walk than a lot of Quarter Horses. He trots and lopes willingly when asked, and they are both very nice to ride. Wrangler has the most amazing back up. You will see that in the video. He tucks his head nicely and would probably back up across our whole farm if we asked him to! He has great lateral and vertical flexion, and a nice whoa too. You can neck rein or direct rein.
Wrangler will go through water, over logs and ditches, up and down steep hills. He rides well alone, with a partner, or in a group. You can mount him from just about anything and he will stand still. Like we said before, he is a little bit of a quicker horse so if you're a beginner you might not like that about him. He would probably be best suited for a confident beginner or an intermediate rider.
Wrangler's papers and a video of him are available on our website: www.TrailHorsesOfMissouri.com We hope we answered your questions, but if you have any more feel free to give us a call. If you would like to come see Wrangler we can schedule an appointment with you most days of the week.
