I was told she has had professional training in reining cow horse and has done some penning/sorting before i got her. I did a little with her last year on the cows but finances limited us from goin to too many so no fault to her. I did take her to some of my nbha races and we did the warm ups schooling the pattern and entered her a few time but only did canter work to more focus on getting the correct pattern and not so much the speed. She was learning quickly too. She is very catty, quick and has the speed all when asked. we trail ride her as well so she has been exposed to dogs, kids traffice etc and is very good. I even had a beginner ride her last week and she was perfect. I took her last year to a memorial day weekend event were we stayed overnight and she was excellent with that. She can have lots of time off and throw a saddle on and go she is not cold backed, never offered to buck rear or take off. she is just a kind hearted horse who wants to please you!!
So here are 2 links for you to check out. this is her pedigree: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/lenas+slic+chick and i do have her papers, i just never transfered them to myself with AQHA!!
This is her breeders web page with her sires info and as i did the research she has money earners on bothsides of her pedigree. I did talk with them when i first got her and she was sold at one of their production sales as a weanling. http://www.rasmussenquarterhorses.com/page/1/44
So i think she is well worth the money $6500.00. she is a great horse and very easy to work with, she is not marish at all, just an overall sweet heart! I will miss her alot but she is going to waste here and needs to be with someone who will bring her to her potential for what she was bred to do.
