Tequila is a gentle but athletic little gelding with a solid overall foundation (see video).
He is ready for somebody to take him and start him as a working cow, sorting or heel horse.
We have had him since he was a yearling and started him under saddle 2 years ago.
He NEVER bucked or did anything stupid. He has quite a lot of miles on him already. We are currently using him as a guide horse in our trail riding business. He has no problem crossing water and he has been exposed to wildlife, bikers, traffic etc. He is confident and calm whether he is ponying other horses or rode by himself checking fences.
This horse is great for an experienced rider because he is quick and willing and very broke for his age. I started tracking cattle with him and he really watches them.
He is not good for a beginner because he is so quick and his trot is rather rough.
His lope however is very nice.
Tequila has NEVER had a lame day or has been sick in any way. NO old injuries or flaws on him at all. Very nice bone and big healthy feet.
He is well behaved on the ground, ties good and has been hauled a fair amount.
He is very easy to catch, loves the treats that come with the people:-)
He has no vices at all!
We train and sell horses as part of our business. We have had him for 4 years now and we think he has a very solid start at this point.
We can ship for a reasonable gas charge.
