Rae is a beautiful, Palomino Quarter Horse/Morgan cross. She is around 13 years old and 15.1 hh. She is a solid horse who is a VERY easy keeper and needs no grain. She is on a grass hay diet all year round. She can get heavy if she is not ridden regularly so she needs someone who can ride her consistently to keep her in shape.
She can be hard to catch at first but once she bonds to you this girl will do ANYTHING for you, she even walked over a see-saw blindfolded for her last owner! She does need an intermediate rider now as she has had a few months off (was given up by previous owner due to financial situation) but with some consistency she would make a great husband horse! Last summer she was used as a beginner lesson horse and then had some time off. She has since then been used as a lesson horse for intermediate to advanced riders.
This girl is not spooky AT ALL. She will go through and over just about anything. She reminds me of a freight train as she walks at the same pace through and over anything without missing a beat.
Good with dogs, kids, and other horses but she is the leader in her herd, not mean about it but she is the lead mare.
NO kick, buck, rear, bolt, bite. Her only vices are that she paws when tied and will shake her head at first when bridled. She can easily be a great husband horse again with a rider who will give her some consistency for a month or two.
Please e-mail me for more info or to set up a time to come see this wonderful mare!
