Gentle, sweet Arabian mare. She is a Monogramm* daughter, and a Bey Shah* granddaughter (dams side)
Nema (her name is Amen spelled backwards) has an exotic head with large eyes and a long graceful neck that glide into a fabulous shoulder. This mare has a lovely strong, short back, as well as a great hip and hind quarter, a high expressive tail carriage, and all that is just frosting on the top of strong straight powerful legs and feet.
This 10 yr old Purebred Arabian mare has a presence and style that are truly attention getting. Her airy, powerful, but floating trot, make her a poster child for beautiful Arabian movement!
Nema has lovely ground manners, is good with her feet, she will stand tied for hours if we are working other horses, and is an overall delightful mare. She is 100% sound and is current on worming, an easy keeper, and is current on hoof care (trimmed 5-16-13) She's easy to load and hauls great.
She also gets along very well with other horses - even new herd members.
This mare is open, and would make an OUTSTANDING broodmare, and should pass on that fabulous conformation, motion and personality, as well as her lovely exotic head!
~ and... you cant beat the price!~
Nema was bred in Ohio, by Robin Vess, who at one time was a premier Arabian horse breeder
(She is registered, but the paperwork is - at this time -lost...(hence the extremely reasonable price) she can still be bred to a purebred Arabian stallion, she will give you a foal possessing extreme type, and foal will be registerable as half Arabian, (but with a decided type advantage)
Nema belongs to a friend of mine who boards her here. She has had lots of handling and ground work done, but she has never been broke to ride.
They are selling due to a lifestyle/job change.
She needs a new home very soon! I'd hate to see her go to the auction if not sold in time for the owners
I rec'd a comment/question via facebook and cannot seem to respond other than to put the info here.
- - - comment - A Facebook user left the following comment on your ad:
"Would her papers be retrievable if one did the footwork to get them from previous owner? What is her registered name?"
- - - reply - I believe so, it should be just a matter of contacting the breed assoc (AHA) since we were told she IS registered and given her partial bloodlines (as shown). ANY/ALL pertinent information WILL be given to her buyer to best accomplish that. The current owner has not had time/interest to do the research.
