Blade is a 7 year old grade blue roan quarter horse gelding, out of a grade 15.2 hand black quarter horse mare and a registered AQHA strawberry roan stallion. He had 30 days professional training with Mark & Jennifer Bailey of Wild Bunch Mule Company in Vilonia, Arkansas in the fall of 2011. Mark said Blade did very well with his training, Mark rode him in and outside of the arena. He hauled him to cattle auctions, and rode him in the pens, working cattle, he hauled him to horse sales, and ropings, etc, so Blade could be exposed to outside places, he rode him on trails alone and with other horses, and alongside the road to get him used to traffic.... (read more) I rode him the rest of that year and he did very well. Since that time I have been busy with school and work, Blade has been handled but not ridden consistently. Blade is completely sound, I raised this colt and he has a good trainable mind and disposition. I was hoping to keep this horse for my own personal riding horse, but economics and shortage of hay has made this impossible. I have never had Blade try to bite, kick or buck with me. He is easy to catch, saddle, bridle, load in trailer, give shots, etc. This is a nice horse with lots of potential, he just needs consistent riding and he will finish out and make a great horse. This is a big horse, I do not recommend him for anyone who does not know how to ride. I would like to see him go to a good home with someone with riding experience that has a job for him. Thank you for looking, serious inquiries only please.
