Candy is approx. 18yrs old and is a little over 15h. She has been a part of our family for eight years and has raised both my girls on the trail since they were babies. The pic attached is of my daughter when she was two at Devils Den, AR. She has many more great years ahead of her. I can not watch another horse die on my property (emotionally too hard) and we are not using her anymore since my kids have moved on to horse they can gallop and run on and don't want her just doing nothing.
Candy is an amazing mule and will only go to a home where she will be loved, used and cared for, if you do not know much about horses or mules DO NOT CALL.
There is no bite, buck (ever), kick, she loads, ties, shoes, bathes anything. She has been on more trail rides in some of the roughest terrains than most horses have seen in their life. She was used to lead line my children (for us she loves our horses so we set her free and she follows us, I just say come on Candy and she follows us) She would not pass my horses with the kids and always kept them safe. She does not move off being kicked making her kid friendly if they squeeze too tight or rough house her, but if you smooch or pick up a rein to tap her rear she will trot up, give her a little harder smack and she will gallop.
She is an easy keeper, air and water half the time! Too much grass she will get a thick neck. My kids used to go underneath her (until I caught them) and she just stood there.
She has packed once in her life, but is a slower pace and older now so I don't like to do this with her. If you have a wife who has trust issues or babies in sticky seats and helmets like my daughter here she is perfect. When you carry your baby while they sleep she will follow.
There is too much good to tell on this ad so just call. There is a craigslist ad that has many more pictures. (Tulsa area, search "Coweta" and look for Mule.
