I have received a down payment today on Comanche 4/29/2013. Until further notice he is considered SOLD!!!Comanche is a gentle, easy going 4 yr old gelding that is 15 hands tall. He has a wonderful willingness about him that makes training easy! He was a 3 yr old stud when we first got him and you wouldn't of thought it for how gentle he was. With that he was easy to break as well, started him with ground work and look at him now. He's had 60 days of riding, took him on a couple trial rides around here, also took him to a clinic when he had 4 rides on him and everyone there couldn't believe how well he did! He knows the drills, working on his neck rein, backs up great, stands still to get on and off, good about handling his feet, loads great. He's ready for someone to finish him to whatever you want him to be. Have fun with him on the trails, train him for barrels, drill team, etc. Comanche is very smart and has the willingness to learn. There was a couple things he wasn't sure of, like that cement foundation you see in the video. But all he did was go away from it, and only took the 3rd time and he did it! This is an 18 yr old that is riding him and he responses to a light touch. I have some videos of him for you to see. Company / Facility: Rock'n A Ranch - We raise/train/buy/sell horses for a living. We start a young horse first with ground work and decentize them to be calm, safe and not spooky. And continue on with ground work all the way to breaking them to ride to a finished horse with no buck, rear, or bolt. For the horses that are broke we work with them on whatever issues they may have from decentizing to tune ups. Before we put them up for sale.
We have 50 acres that we use to ride and train: 4 horse walker, 120 ft circle arena with a 50 ft round pen inside it, also a 150 ft x 150 ft riding arena, a mile oval tilled track, threw a large tank, woods with obstacles, etc. Things that you would experiance on a trail ride. As well as ride them along hwys, over bridges, around cattle, dogs, noises, tractors, etc. If we can't ride them we don't sell them!! Unless otherwise noted as in "NOT Broke"!
