Storey is the easiest mare I've ever trained. She is sensitive to the leg and rein, but mellow and very willing with an excellent work ethic. She has been started under saddle, balanced seat English because that's what I ride. She has solid basics, but does not have a "specialty." She is an excellent pleasure horse, quiet on trails, etc. Can be ridden alone or in a group. She would make an easy project for someone who wants to train her over the summer and sell her in the fall. She has no talent over fences, but loves cows and will probably be happy working cattle. My husband and I love this little mare, but she's not getting the attention she deserves. We have to make room for two newcomers and need her gone ASAP. Her price is negotiable. All routine vet care for 2013 has been paid for with Lodi Vet. She loads, clips, ties and crossties, bathes and stands for the vet and farrier.
Serious inquiries only please. We are willing to trade/barter for all or a portion of the price. We do NOT want another horse, but we could use: English tack/equipment (saddles, bridles, blankets, jumps, etc.), 2-horse trailer, pick-up truck, some work with a skid-steer (moving gravel, ~3 hours), hay, bedding, flatbed trailer, lumber, pottery wheel, kiln, or other things you might have. Feel free to ask.
