He's extremely mild mannered and willing to do what is asked of him. His dam's "Half Arabian" maternal sister Kisatchie Belle won the Region 9 High Point Working Cow Horse Award and has a National and a Reserve Nat'l championship in Half Arabian / Working Cow Horse along with numerous Regional Ch's - last year she was winning at a National level and in TACHA in Cutting too. His purebred Arabian Grand-Sire was exported to France and has excelled in endurance.
Leads, ties quietly, loves to be groomed, stands for farrier, easy to worm; easy to catch.
He has been ridden in the round pen now and he has been bitted, saddled and sacked out. He was VERY calm no matter what I tossed on his back, including my scary big yellow rain slicker, which I tossed onto his neck numerous times. He has not been hobbled, but he has had soft cotton rope looped around his feet and he could care less. This is a special gelding and should be a wonderful family horse. I believe he could even be a Cowboy Mounted Shooting prospect, with his build and temperament. The possibilities are pretty much endless with this boy.
