Cheyenne is a 9 year old chestnut tovero paint mare and she stands 14.1 hands tall. Had APHA papers at one time but previous owner never mailed in transfer and has since lost papers, name of whom she purchased her from and can't remember her registered name so no way to get papers. She can be registered into the Pinto Association (PtHA). Cheyenne was broke to ride the fall of 2011 and ridden 4-5 months (trail riding) and then took off to have a foal. She has been ridden a few times since then. She will need a bit of a tune up. She is not spooky and is gentle. She is up to date on all vaccinations, worming, hoof trimming and has a current coggins. Stands good for grooming/fly spray, bathing, saddling and farrier. Moves off slight pressure with reins so a soft hand is good. Does well in a ring snaffle and was started with a hackamore. She is learning to move off leg pressure and getting better with neck reining. I have ponied and let my kids ride double with me on her. I'm headed back to school this summer and have no time to ride. Go to links below for more pictures and info. Video can be seen on the facebook page.

The Painted Acres Ranch -
Welcome to The Painted Acres Ranch located in Kennard, TX within the beautiful Davy Crockett National Forest of east Texas. We strive to produce quality halter, pleasure and performance APHA Paints and AQHA Quarter horses. Not only do they have the looks, but they have the potential for great performance in the show ring or for putting in a good hard work day on the ranch. Our stallions and mares are chosen first for their gentle dispositions, next for their conformation and lastly for color. We start interacting with our foals from day one to ensure that they are easy to work with and train. Take a look at what we have to offer and some recent customer reviews. Our foals are waiting to pick you as their proud new owner.
