Red started out as a ranch gelding on a big spread in Oregon. He was used to gather cattle, brandings, roping and anything else they needed. He quickly showed he was talented and had the training for the task you put him to but the real GEM of this gelding is his personality. If YOU can ride, he knows all the moves and is the best riding horse you could ask for...but, if your cousin from New York shows up, he will pack him all day and take care of him. In fact, by the time your cousin leaves he will THINK he is quite the rider. Red is a solid 15.3 hh, 1250+ lbs and is sound of mind and body. He has spent the last four years riding thru Sierra National Forest and taking care of his owner. As you would expect from this big boy, you dont have a rodeo after hes been off for awhile, easy to catch, shoe, ties and jumps in the trailer. He is UTD on his shots, teeth have been floated recently and he is ready to go. Red is 13 but he has not had an unsound step nor any issues, injuries, etc.
