Additional Comments:
I am looking to see if anyone knows info on a horse that I recently purchased. Toby, as I call him, is a very sweet and loving 12yo QH gelding. He is chestnut with some light roaning in him. He has a spot on his butt that is heavier w/ roaning, as well as a small black patch on his left ribcage area. He has a unique blaze (see photo), as well as a scar on his LR leg, cannon bone height. It most likely happened late summer/fall 2012. He also has a much smaller, but corresponding scar on his RH leg, most likely from same fence injury.
Toby has wonderful training and was shown at one point western pleasure (as I was told). I was also told that he has done some penning or cattle work. We haven't found anything that phases him, and he is a joy to work around. In the short time that I've had Toby (I purchased him in Feb), I have fallen in love with him! I would just like to find out a bit more about his past, and possibly his registered name. I have no interest in obtaining his papers if his previous owner doesn't want to relinquish them, as I do not show.
If this horse sounds/looks like a horse you may have sold or cared for, please contact me! I am willing to keep in touch with his former owner/caretaker if they so choose, but rest assured that he has a wonderful, lifelong home. TOBY IS NOT FOR SALE! Thank you!
