Stocky Beginner Safe Trail Horse, Must SEE Videos!!!

Hello, my name is Ziggy. I am a registered MO Fox Trotting horse. I am a very big stout horse at 15.3 hh and about 1200 lbs says my vet. My first mom had me as a second horse, and I carried a lot of women on all sorts of trail rides. They were all very impressed with me. Most of the women from the group "women of the horse" know me. My second mom was in search of her forever horse since her Percheron became lame and old, and had to retire. She was looking for a big stout horse that was laid back, so we could stand back and laugh at the shenanigans of our riding partners. Our riding partner got interested in finding a husband and didn't ride for about the first year. We loaded up and just went by ourselves to ride with other friends. When mom got diagnosed with cancer, she sent me to a friend to use so I wouldn't be bored. I was away from home for more than a year being ridden by other people. I am ridden in a snaffle bit. I have a canter to die for it is so smooth and I need a bit of encouragement to go because I prefer to just ease along. I am a confident horse that can lead the group so they don't have to worry about what is ahead. I am perfectly happy to follow behind to laugh at stunts of other horses, heck, I can let the whole group get out of sight and not worry. I go through ditches, over trees, and I love to turn on mom's request to intimidate dogs that think they can chase us. We laugh when I step toward them and they tuck their tales and run home. We love to laugh. I have a calming effect on other horses. I miss my pasture mate that moved away when we realized mom couldn't ride anymore. It hurt her hip due to medications she has to take. She agreed to meet friends several hours away and to ride a rental horse for 1/2 a day, knowing it would hurt... But then she realized, the thing she loved so much about me(wide stocky build), was why she hurt. The narrow rental horse didn't hurt her and she rode for two whole days pain free. She came home with horrible mixed feelings. She wants to ride and she wants me to be able to do what I love so much... Trail ride. And she says I am too good of a horse to waste. So I am looking for a forever loving home. I am a smart horse. I am very calm. I have a great sense of humor. I follow dad as he fishes and check over his shoulder when he catches a fish.... He lets me sniff it before he tosses it back in the pond. I can be very playful in the pasture... Oh I LOVE to swim. I will stand at the gate and mom will hose me all over and that is great. I like the feel of the water on my teeth. I am what they call an easy keeper... Stay fat on a hand full of feed. I never give the vet or farrier any problems. Mom has me up to date on all my vaccines. Mom throws the rope over my neck to load in her two horse straight load trailer and says load up and I do. That's fun because I know we are going someplace. Last year I loaded up just so my friend would load up, because he had to go to the hospital. He had eye surgery and it took a whole month. I got to load up to go get him too. I didn't want him to be scared - and when he saw me on the trailer he knew he was getting to come home. I will miss mom, but at least we will both be able to trail ride. Ziggy has a nice smooth gait and he has a very nice short lope canter. He will also flatfoot walk on a loose rein but moves out easily. Ziggy is gentle and safe for most beginners to ride. Ziggy has had 2 months of professional gaiting, trail and bombproof training. He has been ridden around farm equipment, ATV’s, over large noisy tarps and has also had guns shot off of his back. Just like everything we say about our horses, we have the videos to prove it, make sure to take a look at those on our website. No matter where he goes or what he does, Ziggy is not spooky acting. On the trails he is always great! Ziggy has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. He has been rode in traffic, and is very traffic safe around cars, semi, log, and dump trucks. He has a great personality and a great attitude about whatever he is asked to do.
