Mojo is a one of a kind horse. If I had the money and time I would buy him myself, but I am currently in vet school and this is not an option right now. The owners are moving away from the area and are thinking of selling all of their horses, so that is why we are trying to find a new home for Mojo.
It is hard to know where to start. I have had the pleasure of working with and around Mojo on and off for the last 5 years when I have been living on this farm. He was initially trained for competitive harness racing. Unfortunately he was never fast enough for the races and never made it as a racehorse. That said, he has always given 110% and always gave you a very honest effort. He also has always had great stamina.
Mojo was then started under saddle, to which he took very well. I have been doing a lot of lunging with him and he is very clever about it. On the lunge line he does walk/trot/canter. Under saddle he will walk and trot very nicely (he has a very smooth trot), but has so far not been cantered, which is mostly time related. I am sure it would not be a problem and I am confident that he has lots of potential. We have also been doing some lateral work as well as going cross country.
Vet/Farrier/Bath/Trailer/Cross-ties and even swimming are no problem.
Mojo has a very intelligent and curious personality and is very quick to learn. Therefore I am convinced that he can excel in pretty much any discipline.
It is very important that Mojo goes to a good home. He has been raised on a farm where he gets daily turnout and it would be great if it could stay that way. NO DEALERS OR OLD ORDERS.
