Lucky is a beautiful 2012 curly colt, with dun markings, and super soft curls. He's out of Yedna Royole Anne, a pinto ABCR mare and by MCH Buddy, a dun appy ABCR stud. Lucky has been imprinted and handled extensively. He was born June 27, 2012, and was a VERY tall colt. He had to bend down and tip his head to nurse from his 15.1hh dam. Both of his parents are big-boned (but not drafty), and Lucky looks like he will be the same way~big-boned but elegant, with a baby doll head.... (read more)
He's very athletic, and is fast on his feet. He'd make an excellent barrel or gaming horse. When he's not racing around the fields he's hanging out with my daughter, taking apples from her (and dropping them so he can get to the next one.) He loves attention, and is very friendly. With his personality and charm he would make the perfect 4-H or family horse. He's willing to do anything you ask of him, and learns very quickly.
Lucky should easily mature 15hh, and is currently "fluffy" coated. His fall curly coat has grown out into a very soft, fluffy coat, so we aren't sure if he will go back to being curly or not. When he sheds this spring we will know for sure what coat type he will have. He has proven to be hypoallergenic, so he would be ideal for someone wanting a hypoallergenic horse, without all of the curls.
You could also breed him to your curly mares to add some height and color to your herd, while having a lesser chance at producing an extreme.
Check our website for videos and pictures of Lucky from "day 1". He has a long backstory which makes for an interesting read, even if you aren't interested in buying him.
If you do get to know this colt, you just might fall in love, and want to take him home with you.
Lucky is just $1000 to a great home, and can be registered with ABCR and ICHO. Payment plans are available, and we can also help to arrange transportation to his new home. His price includes a coggins and health certificate (or Candian export papers, if needed), and he is UTD on shots, worming, and hoof care.
