1999 Model DOUBLE HOMOZYGOUS black tobiano mare. Zippy is the daughter of multiple World & APHA Champion CR Black Buttons. She is HOMOZYGOUS for the black gene so she will never produce a red foal & she is also HOMOZYGOUS for the tobiano gene so she will always produce color. Zippy is a nice big mare that is 16 hands. She appears a little sway backed as she has very prominent withers & she was bred as a 2 yr old way before we bought her. She suffers no ill effects from it though & is 100% sound & healthy. She has given us many gorgeous homozygous foals including CTR Buckles & Zippers also listed on this page. She also carries the bloodlines of MK's Black Pepper & Bunyon Bar Bonanza.
