15.1 HH 9 year old AQHA Blue Roan Mare

This mare came to us very underweight. She is now 100% healthy and has gained back most of her weight and has had her teeth floated. Trixy is a big stout mare with a big motor. If you are looking for that horse to check cattle on and be home before breakfast, Trixy is your girl. She has a walk that's out of this world. She can easily pack a big man for days. We would not suggest her for a beginner as she does have a big motor, but anyone who can take control of a horse would get along with this mare.

Trixy has a nice handle, neck reins, stops well, bends and the poll and is soft in the mouth. She has been started on the flag, taken on trail rides and practice team sorting events. We have thrown ropes off her, but never hooked anything.. She does not require to be worked or lunged before ridden, a jump on and go type of horse. Even if not rode for weeks at a time..

We will continue to use and haul Trixy to work cattle and to team sorting events until sold.. Price will become more firm and may increase.
