Registered 9yr chestnut overo paint gelding, but looks more sorrel. Paper name "lawson scootin dee" aka Pilgrim. 15 hand stocky paint that has been showing speed events for the past 3 years. He runs 2d in poles and 3d in barrels at the bigger shows with room to move up because he has the speed, I'm just a hunter jumper rider and just compete on him for fun so he has not been pushed to full speed. He has no gate issues just kick him and he walks in. He needs a intermediate when doing speed events because he loves to run and is more of a free runner, he just intimidates begginer riders in the pattern because of his motor.He has been extensively shown at fun shows with advanced begginers in halter, walk trot,, trail classes, and fun classes and almost always in the top 3, judges always compliment me on him. I competed on points in a local club the first year i had him and he was reserve champion in 3d barrels and reserve champion in 2nd division poles, and that was 2 years ago. So he is def ready to step up in the game Would be great as mounted shooting horse because he has been ridden around guns and shooting and never even bats a eye. This horse has jumped, trail ridden, ponied another horse and is very willing to try anything you can think of. He is a dream to load in the trailer just open the door and he is in and waiting. He bathes, fly spray, and ties up for hours with no problem. He is currently barefoot with no issues. Up to date on shots, coggins, wormer, and trims. He is a very easy keeper holds weight with hay and grass and a handful of grain to keep him occupied while my other horses eat. I am asking $3800 obo for this gorgeous guy because he really is a great horse with even more potential that i haven't tapped.
