Querido is a grey May 08 gelding, 13.3hh. We waited until he was four to begin riding him as this is best for the long term soundness of a trail horse. He has been handled since birth, is brave, affectionate, and has respectful ground manners. He trailer loads and travels well. His trainers were Patty Wilbur, who has trained top national and world Appaloosas in reining and working cow horse competitions, and Mark Bohannon, a PRCA national champion heeler. As a consequence, Querido has a soft mouth and responds to light aids. Querido's pasture play with other horses reveal the sort of temperament we call "lots of cow." However, we have not used him with cattle. He gets along well with other horses, donkeys, mules, dogs and chickens.
