Mac and Lady, 16 and 18 years teenagers. Nicely seasoned team, Very safe, Very patient. Great Starter Team. They both stand about 15.2hh and weigh 1200-1300 pounds. Their picture was taken today March 1, 2013.
Mac is a grade draft gelding, 18 years. Great feet, just had teeth done, current on worming. Overall health is great-no problems, easy keeper. Broke to drive single, double and broke to ride.
Lady is a purebred Belgian mare (no papers), 16 years. Great feet, just had teeth done, current on worming. Overall health is great no problems, easy keeper. Broke to drive single, double and a great trail horse.
Both horses are road safe, trailer great, stand like a statue to be harnessed, listen great, stop on a dime. They can set for months and don't forget a thing.
Both horses have been to poker runs, trail trials and obstacle courses. They place well as nothing spooks them.
They have been hooked to about everything imaginable, forecart, manure spreader, logs, sleigh, drags, wagon. They were used on an Amish farm before we acquired them, plowing, discing, dragging, planting, etc.
This great team is our starter team. Now we are looking to sell them to someone looking for a starter team.
