This is a very cute, very sweet young gelding. He is very kind and gentle, and I believe he will be a good youth prospect....and/or kids horse (with time and experience). He just has that laid back attitude and loving nature that you look for in a kid's horse. He's a really neat buckskin color, and when he shed out his baby hair last fall, he almost looked as though he was champagne. He's not, but he does have that extra shine. I don't think he's going to be as tall as his sire, at 15/15.1, but I am pretty sure he'll be over 14.2. I'm going to say between 14.2 and 15 hands. Could be taller, but don't count on it. He will be extremely stocky, and he should have plenty of 'cow' in him, if his pedigree has any say in it. Sire is 100% foundation (gson of Cutter Bill w/Hard Twist still on papers) and his dam is pretty close. She's a Chicado Joe, Goldfingers bred mare.
We gelded this guy last fall, with most of the other colts. He has been worked with and will lead, load, stand tied for hours, etc. He has been trimmed and kept current on dewormings. Since last fall, the 2012 foals have been running in the pasture together (and an old gelding). As of February, we have started bringing them back into the barn for more handling, trimming, deworming, etc. All these guys are now current on trimming, deworming and vaccinations (5-way and W. Nile), and (as of May, 2013) back in the pasture with the other geldings, studs, and stud prospects.
September, 2013. Still sweet and friendly. Growing very nicely. Big hip, with a gorgeous head and ear - and striking color.
Now with updated photos - January, 2014 - all in winter fuzzies...
The other two geldings in this photo are also for sale. They are by the same stud: Bubba Dexter - 100% foundation grandson of Cutter Bill
You can see him, and a few others at our web site: www.diamanh.com

We have 200 acres of pasture for horses, all cross fenced into smaller pasture for monthly rotation during the grazing season. The pastures not being used for grazing are open for trail riding by our boarders. We have several paddocks (100 x 200) with run in sheds, as well as the standard stall boarding in the barn. Access to the 60 x 152 indoor riding arena is included in monthly board fees.
