This is a very quiet well broke BEGINNER AND KID FRIENDLY gelding that ANYONE CAN RIDE. This gelding is a brown / buckskin in color. He is a dark buckskin in the summer and looks more brown with his winter coat on. He has been trail ridden and is a kind quiet type of horse that is gentle enough for everyone in the family to enjoy. He will ride double with no fuss and does not care if you slide off his rump, crawl in between his legs, stand on him, etc. He will stand perfectly still to be mounted and you can get on and off from either side if you need to. He will ride bareback and with just a halter and leadrope, he will also ride BRIDLE-LESS, watch him in the video ride with no bridle what so ever. He is very calm and stays cool in new situations. He will unload in unfamiliar territories and take to it like he has been there thousands of times. He gets along with all other horses. He will ride out alone without any hesitation and will also ride in a large group in the front or in the rear. He does not get worked up if all the other horses take off. He has a nice way of traveling with a smooth trot and a nice short canter that is very easy to sit and does not jar your body. He stops on whoa and backs up easily for any length of distance. He is an excellent choice for someone that needs a quiet horse that rides around nicely. He has excellent ground manners and stands tied quietly for any length of time. He picks up all four feet willingly when you ask him to. He is easy to catch and has a very friendly personality. Safe, dependable, and honest horse. He is the same horse if you leave him laid off or if you ride him everyday, there is no difference. He is 11 yrs young and ready to be enjoyed by his new owners. Crosses water and mud with no fuss and handles rough terrain and will go through brush bravely. He is 100% sound and has no vices.
