Zelda is For Sale!
She is going to be 1 yr old at the end of May 2013. Zelda is a very well bred American Shetland pony. When she matures she will be around 11h's. She is very flashy and loves to show off her athleticism. This little girl could to very well in the small hunter division. American Shetlands are very different from the "traditional" Shetland pony. The American Shetlands look like someone 'shrunk' a warmblood or even a thoroughbred with their proper proportioned bodies, elegant heads and necks and flowing manes and tails. They are extremely fancey movers and cover ground effortlessly.
Zelda was born on the farm and we still own both her sire and dam. Her sire is a very easy going bombproof personality and he has a steady and sane mind. Hes a thinker and he loves to work. He passes that attitude on to his progeny. Maggie, Zeldas Dam, is a total sweet heart and will stand for hours (maybe even days!) just as long as someone is petting her! Zelda is coming along beautifully, after spending majority of time out in a field with her mom last summer we weaned her and brought her into the barn to begin working on her socializing with people. She is now loving the attention. Her favorite thing to do is pick up fabric (towels, bags etc) and shake them around! Shes such a character!! She is halter broke and is very good when leading her. She is excellent for being groomed and is becoming even better with her feet being handled. She will truly be an incredible addition to someones stable.
Right now we are asking $450.00. As time goes on and her training progresses we will increase the price. Get this girl now before she gets snatched up!! You wont be dissapointed!!!
Please email, call or txt with any questions.
Picture info: Standing shot of pony outdoors is Pal (her sire) and he is also the pic jumping (his first time!) Zelda is the photo of her standing inside the barn, group shot of ponies last summer.
