Angel is a coming 6 year old cremello AQHA mare that deserves a job. She has a few white hairs on her forehead, but no other white markings. She was kind of a late bloomer (still looked/acted like a yearling at 2 years old and didn't really grow much until 3). I bought her as a long yearling and intended to pay for her to be more than halter broken long before now, but life just happened and she's still in the pasture. Unfortunately, family changes now force her sale.... (read more)
She's been round-penned with snaffle bit, long-lines, and surcingle with blanket strapped under it (the saddles I had access to were way too narrow for her). She's been leaned over from both sides from a mounting block. I've not broken any colts and didn't want to give her any bad habits for the real trainers, so didn't mount or ride her, but she'd have been ok with it.
She's stout and right at 15 hands. She does ok with vet and farrier care. She's done well for me and I'm just a backyard horse owner - not a professional trainer at all. I'd love for her to go work somewhere! She's been around cows and dogs since birth and is fearless and curious. I do have her papers. She’s currently boarded at a farm in Pekin.
