I have a Quarter Horse Thoroughbred Cross gelding for sale. He's turning 15. Well broke but with lots of energy. Good for advanced beginner and up rider. Has worked cows, done parades, and tons of trails. I've started him on barrels last fall and he was doing great, picked them up very quickly, havn't worked with him on barrels since the weather went bad, but i dont think it would take much to get him back into them. He would make an excellent barrel horse, ranch horse and/or show horse. He's 15.2H, bay, i've lead my 6 year old on him, and the 8 year old girl i give lessons to has ridden him alone in an arena many times. I was asking $3000 for him, but have dropped his price to $1600 for winter and because i dont want him wasting out in my pasture anymore. He gets along great with other horses and animals, loads great, easy to catch, good with farrier, nice and sound. he's just really mellow, really likes attention. HE NEEDS TO GO ASAP!!
