Lexington is a very well bred and successful Elite Book Friesian Sporthorse FEI dressage stallion. Recently featured on the cover of Warmbloods Today magazine, he is one of the best known Friesian Sporthorses in the country, and one of the only Friesian Sporthorse stallions in the US to be fully Approved for Breeding. He combines a wonderful temperament with superb trainability. He's a lovely mover with an expressive trot and correct conformation. He scored a rare '10' for Sporthorse Potential at his stallion inspection.
Lexington is currently competing at the FEI level, and schooling all of the elements of the Grand Prix as a 9-year-old. In 2012 he was ranked 15th for USDF Horse of the Year at FEI Prix St Georges with a year-end average of 69.747%. He was also the 2012 FSA High Performance National Champion with a year-end average of 62.72% at FEI Intermediare-I. He was featured on the cover of Warmbloods Today magazine July/August 2012.
Lexington is also proving himself as a sire. He is the sire of three consecutive National Champion Friesian Sporthorses (Lancaster ROF, 2010, Lily ROF, 2011, Lauderdale ROF, 2012), and had two offspring ranked in the Top 6 for 2012 (Lauderdale ROF, Champion, and Lockheed CS, 5th place.) The 2009 gelding 'Lauderdale ROF' by Lexington scored an incredible 89.1 at inspection, the highest score ever awarded to a Friesian Sporthorse at inspection. The 2011 filly 'Lily ROF' by Lexington was undefeated in 2011 competing in USDF's Dressage Sport Horse Breeding classes and was the 2011 Southeast Regional USDF/DSHB Champion for Foals-of-Current-Year.
Lexington is fully Approved for Breeding with the Friesian Sporthorse Association (FSA).
