Quarter Horse Gelding

Outlaw is an 8 year old sorrel roan quarter horse gelding born 5/5/05. Stands about 15.1 but I haven't measured. I bought Outlaw in August of 2012 looking for a horse that wasn't trained in barrels, but have now decided that I want to buy a horse that has seen the pattern. Outlaw is broke but needs an experienced rider. I have been working with him for the last two months on desensitizing groundwork. He has come very far and is willing to try any obstacle he is faced with after a little reassurance. He is soft mouthed, I ride him in an o-ring snaffle. He bends well and responds very well to leg cues. He backs, has a nice lope, a nice stop, a nice fast or slow trot depending what you ask for, and has been trailered to Murphy park a few times. He is no problem getting in and out of the trailer, stands for farrier and vet, and is up to date on shots. Just had his teeth floated two weeks ago. He will need a refresher because I have been working so much on ground work with him. He can be difficult to get a bridle over his head because of ear shyness, but I have been working on this as well. With consistent work he does let people touch his ears, I believe this problem can be worked through. I really love this horse and want to see him go to a great home. Selling as grade because I was never able to get his papers from his previous owner, though I know his registered name, Ivers Tough Wrangler.
