Primer Coat is a 1998 OTTB suitable for an intermediate rider. Owner is moving out of the state and needs to find him a new home. He is well built, athletic and loves to work. He had about two years of no work due to owner's injury but has been ridden by 2 students for the past couple of years, as well as been used as a lesson horse. He has trailer anxiety and would need someone to work with him on this if he would need to be trailered frequently.... (read more) He's a very easy keeper, does great on just pasture in the summer, and has been been able to be barefoot in all of his years off of the track. He'd do well in a lesson program for non-beginners, or as a companion horse. He has several years of dressage training and was started over fences prior to owner's injury. He's a wonderful horse for someone he trusts, and finding him a good home is far more important than the price.
