Holiday is a VERY well broke gelding that has been used is barrel racing professionally. He rides very well on the trails and pleasure riding. He rides across water, down streams, over fallen trees and through thick brush. Holiday has a very smooth walk and an exceptionally smooth trot, very easy going canter. He has a smooth enough gait at the walk, trot and canter that a person with a bad back or knees will appreciate. He has a very good neck rein, back up and stop. He also spins, side passes and you can open/close gates off of him. He has a nice, easy canter in or out or the arena. He does figure eights and would be able to do poles. He is a big stout gelding that would fit a larger/taller rider. A pretty paint horse that is bred better than most quarter horses. He is very gentle and easy to catch, gets along with other horses well. He LOVES women and lots of attention. He is a horse that would be great for play days, drill team, ranch sorting/team penning or mounted patrol. He also would make a good lesson horse, walk/trot or lead line. He is a horse with plenty of handle, speed and strength to make a heading horse. He is easy to bath and clip, pick up feet. He loads and hauls very quietly. He stand very well for the farrier.

Lake Holiday is sired by Brisco County Jr and out of Yes It Is who is by Is It True. He also has First Down Dash, Dash For Cash, East Jet, Raja Baba and Hempen on his papers. Hoilday is a grand son of Reba McIntyre who was a top mare from the Walter Merrick Ranch.
