Beam has been shown in Open, Amateur, Juvenile, and Senior Classes. He has been shown in plantation, lite shod plantation, country pleasure walking, and trail pleasure walking (Amatuer, Open, and Juvenile in these divisions) winning blue ribbons in all.
He has won numerous blue ribbons at horse shows Greensburg, Stanford, Lebanon, London, Brownsville, Owenton, Prestonsburg, Campbellsville, Mid Summer Classic, Eastern Ky Celebration.
He has won the following high-point awards in the Kentucky Walking Horse Association:
