This horse belongs to my 4 year old daughter. She badly wants a pony. She can ride her on a lunge line and walk, trot, turn and stop on her by herself. My 4 year old brushes her, leads her, picks up her feet and walks under her legs. Jessie would never hurt my daughter. She can be fun for my 12 year old daughter too and even jumps. She has a huge jump for her size. She would be PERFECT for a child that has multiple interests and wants an all around horse.... (read more) She could go any way. She rides western, english and bareback. She has been shown in 4H by an autistic boy. She takes care of riders that need it, and not the ones that don't if that makes sense. She is very careful with young children. I drove 14 hours to get this horse, she wasn't easy to find. She can be ridden by children in an arena, round pen, or lunge line. Probably even in the yard without being fenced in, but my daughter is only 4 and I haven't tried yet. On trails she would do better with a little bit older of a child. I have ridden her double with my daughter and she was perfect. She is not spooky, but she is not bombproof either. Not much scares her, but I wont say that nothing ever will. She has LOTS of trail miles, she's been camping overnight, and can work well in the arena. She has run barrels but never by us. She gets along with other horses and is an easy keeper. She has had two foals and is a great mother. Feel free to call with questions! UTD on shots, farrier and worming. I think she needs a coggins, but I will get one.
