Charlie is 11 years old and AQHA foundation bred but he was never registered as a foal. This is a 100% sound stout built gelding that pulls hard from the horn. You are definitely mounted with this guy! He wears a 1 shoe and is currently sharp shod with drill tech and being used in the feedlot doctoring calves. This horse is a pleasure to be around...easy to catch in the pasture...easy to shoe, loves people and he is really gentle. He isn't cinchy or cold backed. Loads good in the trailer and stands tied nice. Good horse for a person that has to rope and doctor cattle by themselves. You can tie off on him hard and fast if your tripping cattle to doctor. Pulled cows and bulls into the trailer on him. He has a nice neck rein on him, works well off your legs, spins and stops hard with a low head set. All I use on him is a light chain bit. He is deceptively fast when you are building to something...he will put you right there...just kick him up. Current on vaccinations, worming and his teeth were floating in October 2012.
