Inkspot By Whitman or Romeo as we call him is a 1997 black tobiano gelding. He stands at 15+ hands tall. He is great with the farrier and stands tied all day long. He is easy to groom, bathe, lead, load in trailer, worm, give shots, pick up feet, and all around care for. He is up to date on vaccinations, wormer and feet trimming. He is an easy keeper and stays fat on air. He is a push button horse which means he is very well trained and very responsive. He was the captain's horse in the Angelina and then Nacogdoches County Mounted Patrol Units. He has performed in many arenas and rodeos and won multiple awards. He has done everything from parking lot patrol, standing flag and was trained for precision drills. He also helped train the all female Dixie Belles Drill Team in Crockett Texas. Since we have owned him we have used him for pleasure/trail riding through the Davy Crockett forest where we live. He can go all day long and has tons of go and I think he would make an awesome endurance prospect. We just don't have time to ride him and we hate to see him as a pasture ornament when he is trained so well and would make someone else happy.
