Dakota just turned 4 in August and has been at the Butler Tech Equine Center for the past 4 months for the highschool students to learn how to train horses and work with horses. He is UTD on shots/feet trimmed (1/16/13)/ teeth. He can be registered i just never did because i wasnt going to breed him or do breed shows with him. He loads in a trailer and stands to be saddled. He was sent to a local trainer last March to break because i was in college.... (read more) I bought him when he was 4 1/2 months old for a barrel/pole horse but turned out he is not as tall as i wanted him to be. He is laid back and learns easy...has been on trails, been around cows, walked over bridges/ tarps/ can canter over a jump, and can carry a flag, also great around dogs, 4wheelers,cars. He was a great jog and nice smooth canter. Would make a great project horse/ 4h horse. I want him to go to a loving home that can teach him new things and take him far because he is a great horse. I wanted to send him to reining training because he had a sliding stop when he came back from the trainers. He can be a little pushy so needs some more ground work but he is good under saddle. Come try him out my neighbor has a sand arena. Not for a beginner because he is still learning but could make a nice western pleasure horse because he has a low headset and is great mover. He is built like a rock too! I am asking $1200 or open to offers. Feel free to call/txt taylor at 513-703-5162 He is located 15 min north of hamilton, Oh. Looking for loving home and would like to see facilities before selling ...would be open to leasing and to payment plans but would stay will me until then.
