This mare is not a beginner horse.
Darn Little Badger is a black/dark brown 14.2hh, very thick build, excellent conformation AQHA mare by Texas Frecklena out of Dotties Star.
She is 12 years old, sound and sane.
Badger is a western mount.
She has done barrels, poles, keyholes, trail riding, some training in reining. She halters, leads, ties, cross ties, trailers, neck reins, has done cattle sorting and swimming, great whoa. She stands quietly while being tacked up and for mounting.
She will do anything asked of her with the right rider.
She needs a confident rider who can push the right buttons and be kind with her and she will do anything she is asked.
She can at times be mareish (never mean) and she does not like being ridden by individuals with hard hands or having her mouth pulled.
She is ridden in a snaffle or a copper roller bit and you do not need to put anything harsh on this mare.
She loves to do games shows and trail riding and would be a great mount for an individual who wants to have fun with their horse.
She has been bred twice and had 2 amazing foals.....
She is a horse that needs to be ridden on a regular basis to keep her in shape and is currently not in shape.
VERY easy keeper. No vices, has been shoed but does not require them. Lives out or in a stall, does not require grain. UTD with vaccinations, worming and farrier care.
